Get ready to indulge in sweetness and strut your stuff at our 2nd annual Donuts and Divas (and Dudes!) 5K! 

This is a fun walk/run event, so grab your tutu and tiara and join us! Oh! And if you don't have one? We will have some in stock for purchase!

This one-of-a-kind event is not just about the run - your participation truly makes a difference for a special needs community and Champaign county, as 100% of the proceeds will benefit Belle's Yellow Legacy of Love, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to spreading hope, inclusion and support to individuals and families affected by autism and other special needs.

But wait, there's more! Our Donuts and Divas (and Dudes!) 5K is designed to be a fabulous and fun-filled experience, with lively music to groove to, delectable doughnuts to fuel your diva power, and plenty of camaraderie to go around. Whether you're strutting your stuff in stilettos or rocking your athleisure chic, there's something for every diva at our event.

Not feeling up for the full 5K? No sweat! This year were mixing things up. With a 1 mile kids/fun run– Perfect for a lighter dash of fun!

Hey, fellas - don't sit this one out! Join the fun! Tiara and tutu optional, but extra fun is guaranteed!

This event is held in loving memory of Belle Baber, a true diva who didn't let autism or her medical issues hold her back. Join us as we honor her legacy and celebrate the spirit of resilience, courage, and love. Together, we can create a brighter future for all!

Event Schedule
Friday, August 15th (40 Monument Sq, Suite 202, Urbana, Oh)
4:00pm to 6:00pm - packet pick up and registration

Race Day, August 16th (Melvin Miller Park)
7:30 am to 8:45am - Packet Pick up and same day registration
9:00am- race start
10:00 – 11:00 am - post race party

Location and parking
The race will start and finish at Melvin Miller Park, 731 Children’s Home Road, Urbana. There is plenty of parking in lots around the park.


Race information

• The course is through Melvin Miller Park and the immediate residential area adjoining the park. 
• Per the event insurance, no animals are allowed at the event (service animals are, of course, permitted).
• You must be able to hear instructions from volunteers, first responders, and event staff, so we strongly advise against wearing headphones and earbuds.

Cancellation Policy
By registering for this race, you agree that there will be no refunds offered for this event. On race day, we will be following the pandemic guidance currently recommended from the State of Ohio. In the event of foul weather, public safety concerns, pandemic, or for any other reason deemed necessary by timing company, race organizers, public safety officials, or anyone else in charge, we reserve the right to reschedule the event date if possible, cancel the race, or convert this to a virtual race. There will be no refunds for any reason and race items will not be mailed.

Weather in Ohio can be unpredictable. Unless we have thunder, lightning, ice on the course, unsafe temperatures, or are not permitted to drive on the roads, we will host the race. If we have to cancel for the aformentioned reasons or other reasons not mentioned, the race will be virtual and shirts will be available for pick up at a date to be determined. 


Transfer Policy
If you find that you can no longer participate in this event, transfers to another participant will be permitted through July 31st. Please email us for assistance with this process.
